DESCRIPTION:

The Gamma and X-ray HPGe spectrometer is based on a HPGe (High Purity Germanium) detector with Electric Machine Cooling which is intended for the conversion of Gamma-ray quantum energy using amplitude electric signals and their amplification for further registration with a nuclear physics apparatus. It was specifically developed for long, continuous operations.

The electronic cryosystem is a stand-alone device and it can be linked to the chosen High Purity Germanium through the high pressure gas pipes.

STANDARD SET:

The detection unit complete set is composed by the following integrated components:

  • Detection device consisting of cryostat, HPGe detector crystal, temperature sensor, heat exchanger and preamplifier with cooled input stage
  • Gas compressor cooling system with built-in cryocontroller for the provision of automatic monitoring and control of operating modes for HPGe detector and cryosystem
  • High pressure gas pipes for connecting the cryosystem to the Detection Unit heat exchanger
  • Cable set
  • Spectrometric device
  • Emulation and analysis Software
  • Software package NuclideMasterPluss
  • Advanced software package EffMaker

In addition to standard supply, the following accessories are available upon request:

  • Hexagon Multichannel Analyzer

    • Quantitative and qualitative analysis
